The Zurich Flood Resilience Alliance, in partnership with Practical Action, developed a centralized repository system to help communities better cope with and recover from flood risks. Previously, flood-related information was scattered and difficult to track. Using DSpace as the backend and WordPress on the frontend, they built a cost-effective knowledge portal for sharing practical information on flood resilience. The portal includes features like newsletters, interactive maps, case study libraries, and forums for collaboration. This system successfully centralized flood data and provided valuable tools to enhance community resilience efforts.
